Mitticraft makes a wide range of clay items in the form of Indian traditional pottery, tableware, kitchenware, Indian festival accessories, pooja items, décor, planters, diffusers, diyas (oil lamps) etc. The raw material viz. clay is procured from Wankaner district of Gujarat, located near Rajkot, which is a pottery hub well known for clay items and handicrafts. And the products are hand made in Dharavi, Asia’s largest slum area located in Mumbai. It is an all women’s initiative to empower rural and urban marginal women artisans and promote Indian regional handicrafts.
