Description

UTILITY
Handmade terracotta clay Sigree, a traditional way of cooking on Earthen stove (also called chulha or Angithi) has been extensively used in rural and semi Urban India and also in other developing countries. While enabling cooking in the traditional way, the Sigree/Chulha/Angithi reduces the amount of fuel required as it remains hot for a few hours (depending on the season) even after the fire has been doused off allowing food to simmer well once its cooked. Portable and handy you can carry the sigree to outdoor camping and parties to serve and enjoy traditionally cooked food in clay utensils from Mittikraft House. Food cooked on traditional Earthen Sigree needs less oil and water to cook while retaining its micronutrients and pH balance.
